Arrived at Vienna in the morning

Reached Klausenburgh at nightfall and stayed at Hotel Royale

3^rd May

Boarded the 7.30 train

Reached Bistritz and stayed at Golden Krone Hotel

4^th May

Received warning from landlord and wife of going to Castle Dracula

5^th May

Meeting with the coachman at nightfall

Arrival at Castle Dracula

Meeting with the Count

Had supper at Castle Dracula and Count did not join him

7^th May

Slept till late in the morning

Had a cold breakfast. The Count left a message to say he left and not to wait for him

Went to the library to look at the books

8^th May

Explored the castle

Found out that he was trapped in the castle

Found out that it was the Count who did the housekeeping and was the coachman

12^th May

Count allowed him to write four letters

Saw the Count crawling down from the wall

15^th May

Again saw the Count behaving like that and vanish into a hole

Explored the castle and tried all the doors

Came upon a room which he could enter

16^th May

After writing in his diary, fell asleep

Had a weird dream of three female vampires wanting to suck his blood

18^th May

Found out that the door was ruined and believed it was not a dream

19^th May

Wrote three letters to his friends

29^th May

Felt that there may be hope of escape

Gypsies camping out at the castle courtyard

Count found out his secret

31^st May

Woke to find his belongings missing

17^th June

Saw horses and cried out to them for help but the Slovak looked stupidly

24^th June

The count killed a woman’s child and later sent wolves to finish her off

25^th June

Decided to risk his life to find out the secret of the Count

He started trying to locate the key but to no avail

He found a door which was opened and came to a stairway

When he went through the passage, he found himself in an ruined chapel which was used as a graveyard

Searched every inch of the ground

Made a discovery, found the Count in one of the boxes and was either dead or alive

Was so scared that fled back to room and lay on the bed panting

29^th June

Saw the Count again at his act

The Count later said that Jonathan will go back home tomorrow

Jonathan wanted to leave right away but changed his mind when he heard the wolves howl

When he was back in his room and about to lie down, heard the three vampire brides laughing

30th June

Slept till before dawn

When wanted to leave, found the door locked

Tried to search the Count for the key
